Roundbelts

Round belts are often used to connect Slave rollers to motorised units, creating powered zones of generally, 6-10 rollers, although in light duty areas up to 15 rollers can be powered from a single motorised roller

One of the more basic products, by design and variation. Most Original Equipment Manufacturers stick to just two types

The standard Smooth type is used low load zones or on bends where steady flow of goods is expected.

The ‘Abuse Resistant’ rough type is used where jammed boxes or totes can bring the slave rollers to a halt. The lower coefficient of friction on the rough belts means that unlike their smooth counterparts, they can slip until sensors spot the jam and cut the power to the motorised roller. This avoids excess heat that can abrade or melt the belt.

The downside of the Rough type belt is that under high loads they can slip too much making them unsuitable for use on heavy goods lines.

Rough type belts are, therefore, recommended for areas where boxes have light to moderate weight, where PLC’s are set to power through minor jams, or even in areas where there are no sensors to detect such jams.

We recommend using Dura-Belt Round belts, their main market strength and advantage over competitors is their own proprietary welding technology. In tests, their weld joints are up to 10 times stronger than those made by our competitors. The technology is called Super Strong Welding, more info is included on the PDF below. To our knowledge they are the only company in the world that provides 10 years warranty to our welds.

Interroll is one of the world's leading manufacturers of key products for unit load handling systems, internal logistics and automation. These solutions are used primarily within the area of food processing, airport logistics, postal services, distribution and in various segments of industry.

The products include easy-to-integrate drive solutions such as drum motors for belt conveyors, DC-powered and non-powered rollers for conveyor systems; energy-efficient flow storage modules for compact pallet/container racking systems in distribution centres; Crossbelt sorters, belt curves and other user-friendly conveyor modules for cost-efficient material flow systems.

Dura-Belt was formed in Ohio in 1987 to sell urethane belts to distributors, installers, and OEMs.

Dura-Belt is a manufacturer of a high-quality polyurethane power transmission belting, used mostly on-line shaft powered roller conveyors and powered roller conveyors as well as in other power transmission applications.

Dura-Belt manufactures urethane belting and conveyor components, including O-ring round belts, Quick Connect Twisted Belts, V-belts, Polycord(R)-like Rough Green belts, energy efficient elastic flat belts up to 34" wide, Long-Life HT (high-tension) and HEHT belts for powered-roller conveyors with MDR zones up to 15 rollers long.

With its proprietary welding process called Super Strong Weld (SSW™ welding technology), Dura-Belt is able to deliver endless belts with up to 10 times stronger weld joints than weld joints made with conventional belt joining process. Moreover, with this welding technology, Dura-Belt provides the World’s Longest Belt Warranty - 10 full years.

Dura-Belt also manufacture conveyor components like line-shaft spools & split spools, polyurethane spacers & sleeves, idler and drive pulleys. We are a Master Distributor of Hutchinson's Conveyxonic Poly-v belts.

Dura-Belt regularly introduces new products, most of which are inspired by its customers with whom it works closely.

As an approved distributor Intralogistics Aftercare Solutions has access to the entire range of products offered, a selection of which can be found below:
