Live roller conveyors are used throughout distribution centers, warehouses, and packaging/shipping departments for efficient transport of packages and goods.

 

The belt is a critical component of the conveyor but may not even be seen. the belt is supported by pressure rollers, which force it up against the carrying rollers, causing them to rotate and move products along the conveyor.

 

Live roller conveyor systems can be segregated into three types of systems:

1) Continuous running (CR)

2) Low pressure accumulation (LP)

The Novo Felt Belts are also known as 'Anti-Cut Belts' they don’t cut easily unlike a PVC or PU belt would.

Longitudinal Grooves provide absorption of shock loads; wear resistant edges; excellent tracking characteristics; high coefficient of friction surface; high grip surface; Impact resistance; and are quiet running.

The grip top conveyor belt is designed for carrying lightweight goods, either inclined or horizontally. Grip top is ideal for paper, bags, boxes, cartons, tote bins etc. The rubber grip top belting is constructed with a rough mesh pattern moulded into the top cover. It has good cushioning properties and absorbs impacts, and vibrations during transportation and simultaneously prevents slipping.

PVC is widely used in construction because it is durable and easily worked. It can be made softer and more flexible by the addition of plasticizers.
